Johnny Lawless is a Knoxville native who takes his clothing designs seriously…even if his creations are nothing but fun. After spending 8 years in San Francisco and L.A. he decided to move back home to start something new. His dresses and t-shirts have been a hit for 6 years.
These days Johnny has decided to take J Law Designs to a whole new level. “Johnny Lawless-Restore the Law,” is a welcome addition to his business. I was always a “designer” before I was a designer, he says “I’ve always taken my clothes or thrift store clothes and put a new face on them so they were new again. So I have decided to do that for everyone. If you have a favorite pair of jeans, shoes, t-shirts or a dress you love because it hangs well or you love the look of it but it is too faded or frayed, bring it to me and I will make it new again. It will still feel the same but it will be a brand new piece of clothing with a brand new facade…or a face lift if you will.”
